Measurably High-Performance

Universal V-Drive Technology

The new TSX Universal Series ULT freezers feature the innovative Universal Variable Drive (V-Drive) technology, marking a significant advancement in performance and energy efficiency. Unlike standard compressors that operate in a binary full-power or nothing mode, the Universal V-Drive adjusts its speed variably to achieve optimal cooling capacity while maximizing energy efficiency.

Image

Through updates to our variable speed compressors, improvements to intelligent algorithms, and optimization of hardware with our new Universal V-Drive cooling technology, users can now experience universally better performance across all metrics compared to the previous generation TSX Series ULT freezers, demonstrated in the below table.

A new benchmark for performance metrics

Thanks to our new and innovative Universal V-Drive technology, which is available on the Universal ULT freezers platform, users will experience tighter performance across all measurements. Setting a new benchmark for performance.

Smarter cabinet design

Image

With over 80 years of experience in manufacturing ultra-low temperature freezers, you can be sure that every detail of our freezer cabinets has been optimized for performance. Starting with the selection of only top materials, our freezers are constructed of rugged galvaneel or optional stainless steel interiors. Stainless steel shelves are both adjustable and reinforced to hold up to 125 pounds each. Thoughtful compartmentalization maximizes storage capacity and utilizes inner doors that reduce frost and ambient temperature impact. Outer doors and panels achieve exceptional R-value insulation rating via vacuum panels with water blown foam insulation. Airtight closures are assured with triple point seals around door apertures. Finishing touches include integrated control panels, easy access to filter maintenance compartments and castors that make day-to-day use intuitive and easy. And it’s all delivered in a package that optimizes sample storage per square foot and cooling capacity.

Greener by Design

We leverage the power of innovation to positively contribute to a healthier world, which includes reducing the environmental impact of our products and packaging—from design to end of life. By incorporating environmental sustainability principles into each design step, we can better understand and reduce the environmental impact of our products early in the design process, ultimately delivering on our commitment to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 while helping customers advance their sustainability goals.
